Gyan clinches all three points for Ghana.
After a disappointing opener, Ghana got their campaign back on track after a late winner against Algeria.
The Al Ain striker missed Ghana's opening Group C defeat to Senegal with a bout of malaria but was the hero for Avram Grant's side as his composed finish in stoppage time earned a crucial three points
Ghana struck at the last when Gyan latched onto a long ball forward and his strike across goal got the better of Algeria goalkeeper Rais M'Bolhi and nestled in the bottom left-hand corner, much to the delight of the Ghana players.

Looking ahead to Ghana vs Algeria..AFCON 2015
Algeria will go through to the Africa Cup of Nations knockout stages if they beat Ghana and Senegal do not lose in their later match against South Africa.
Desert Foxes coach Christian Gourcuff says all his players are fit, including Rafik Halliche, who had been an injury doubt.
Ghana are uncertain if striker Asamoah Gyan will return after missing their win over Senegal with malaria.
Boss Avram Grant said: "I hope he'll play, I want him to play."
The Black Stars began their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a dramatic 2-1 loss to the Teranga Lions on Monday.
But defender Jonathan Mensah has vowed to turn things around when they take on the Desert Foxes in Mongomo.
Ghana against Algeria is the first of Friday's matches here.
The later game features Senegal - who like Algeria already have a win to their name - against South Africa.
Victories for Algeria and Senegal again will wrap up qualification from Group C with a game to spare.
Ghana say they are determined not to let that happen.
