He has already been crowned world’s best player four times; he will almost certainly win the Balon d’Or for a fifth time at the end of this year; and with goals like this one, the arguments for him being anything other than the greatest of all time become increasingly exhausted.
Atheltic Bilbao had set about the Barcelona’s number 10 in the first 20 minutes of the game - perhaps they should put a sign up pitch-side at the Camp Nou ‘Don’t upset the genius’.
