Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are to play out a repeat of last season's final in this season's Champions League quarter-finals. The Spanish capital rivals needed extra-time last season before Cristiano Ronaldo and co came out on top. Holders Real Madrid scraped through to the last-eight after a scare against Schalke. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid needed penalties against Bayer Leverkusen after the tie ended 1-1 on aggregate.
PSG are to play Barcelona in the other glamour tie of the round. PSG knocked out Chelsea on away goals after a spirited display at Stamford Bridge in the last round after going down to 10-men. Despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic being sent-off early in the game, the French champions managed to draw 2-2 after extra-time to take them through on away goals. After such a display they will feel confident they can reach the last four, however they play a Barcelona side that impressed over their two legs against Premier League champions Manchester City, winning 2-1 at the Etihad and 1-0 at the Nou Camp. The sides have already met this season in the group stage, with the results giving little indication to who will come out on top. Barcelona won 3-1 at home and PSG won 3-2 at home.
Porto will play Bayern Munich. FC Porto came through against against FV Basel 5-1 on aggregate while Bayern Munich cruised through against Shakthar Donestsk. With the first-leg ending 0-0, Pep Guardiola's team dispatched their Ukrainian opponents 7-0 at the Allianz Arena.
Juventus vs Monaco completes the draw. Juventus thrashed German side Borussia Dortmund in the last round, winning their tie 5-1 on aggregate. Monaco meanwhile beat Arsenal on away goals, thanks to their 3-1 win at the Emirates.
