Real Madrid kick off spending in the transfer window by purchasing Odegaard

The Spanish giants have agreed to sign teenage Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard from Stromsgodset pending a medical, the La Liga club said on Wednesday.
Real did not give details of financial terms but Spanish media reported they had agreed to pay around £2.3million (3million euros) for the 16-year-old. It was also believed that Odegaard will be on £80,000 a week at the Bernabeu.
He will be presented to the media at Real's training base outside the Spanish capital on Thursday, the world and European champions said on their website.
